Blessed Elderly care and Orphanage  is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe and loving home for orphaned children and a supportive and dignified environment for elderly individuals in Edo State Nigeria. Founded in 2012, our organization was born out of a deep compassion for vulnerable members of our community. We recognized the urgent need to offer not just shelter, but a holistic approach to care that addresses the unique needs of both orphaned children and the elderly.

At Blessed Elderly Care and Orphanage, we believe in creating a family-like atmosphere where children can grow, learn, and heal, and where the elderly can age with grace, respect, and a sense of purpose. Our dedicated team of caregivers, educators, healthcare professionals, and volunteers work tirelessly to provide personalized attention, emotional support, and opportunities for growth and engagement for all our residents.

We are committed to fostering a sense of community, promoting independence, ensuring access to quality education and healthcare. Through our various programs and services, we aim to empower orphaned children to reach their full potential and provide the elderly with a comfortable and enriching living experience.

How You Can Help:

  • Donations: Your Gifts for the less Privilege can come in cash and in relief materials such as Clothings, Food, Medications etc.
  • Volunteering: volunteer opportunities and the skillsets such as care giving, Academic Tutors, Medical officers, Cook, & Chefs. Psychologists etc are also welcomed.
  • In-Kind Donations: Items such as clothing, food, educational materials, or household goods.
  • Partnerships: We also Accept collaborations with other organizations to futher render Excellent humanitarian Sevices also
  • Awareness and Advocacy: We encourage visitors to spread the word about our mission and advocate for the needs of orphans and the elderly.

Who We Serve:

  • Orphans:

    These are Vulnerable children who have lost one or both parents, Abandoned or neglected children in need of love and support,Children from broken homes or unsafe environments, Young ones with emotional, educational, or physical needs, Kids seeking stability, nurturing care, and a sense of belonging.

  • Elderly Residents:  These are Seniors who need assistance with daily living activities, Elderly individuals with chronic health conditions or disabilities. Those experiencing loneliness or lacking family support. Older adults requiring medical supervision or rehabilitation. Seniors seeking a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment.
  • Our Impact:

    Over the years, we have provided a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable children and elderly individuals, Offered emotional support, companionship, and a sense of belonging, Promoted education and skill development for children, and dignity in aging for seniors. Reduced homelessness and neglect in the community, Encouraged intergenerational bonding and mutual respect. We have also Created job opportunities and promotes community involvement. Fostered a culture of compassion, care, and social responsibility.
